Nokia releases 106 and 107 Dual-SIM mobile phones



Nokia has released budget friendly mobile phones Nokia 106 and Nokia 107. Both the handset features long standby time alongside stylish design. The Nokia 107  and Nokia 106 feature dual-SIM capabilities and run Series 30 platform operating system. The Nokia 106 features a 1.8-inch 65k-color TFT display and quad-band GSM network supports. The Nokia 106 and 107 also feature LED flashlights, FM radio receivers, calculator,timer,stopwatch, voice call, games,currency conversion, calendar reminders, multiple alarm clock ,  and boast water spill and dust resistant keyboards.
They both measure 112.9 x 47.5 x 14.9 mm. The Nokia 107 has an MP3 player functionality, capable of continuous music playback for more than a day. It supports memory expansion up to 16GB and can store up to 3,000 songs.
The weight of the Nokia 106 is 74.2 grams while the 107 weighs slightly higher at 75.8 grams because of the larger battery. The battery for the Nokia 107 is rated at 1020 mAh which gives 36 days standby, while the Nokia 106 has a 800 mAh battery pack allowing it to last 35 days on a charge.

Executive vice president of Nokia Mobile Phones,Timo Toikkanen said ,
“The phone's design, color options, features are abundant. It is an excellent choice for those consumers who want to buy their first feature phone”.
Pricing and Availability
Nokia 106 suggested retail price is $ 23.The Nokia 107 is priced at $ 25 (excluding taxes and subsidies). Both phones are expected to be released in Q3 in China. There is no word yet about international availability of these phones.
