 HP Tegra 4 Powered Slate 8 Pro and Slate 7 Extreme Tablets to hit Shelves in November. HP has launched its new Tegra 4-powered Tablet dubbed HP Slate 8 Pro and the HP Slate 7 Extreme. Both devices are a company’s first to have Tegra 4 Processor and are optimized gaming through NVIDIA’s TegraZone, and utilize Direct Stylus technology.
The HP Slate 8 Pro features an 8-inch (1600 x 1200 pixels) display, 2GB of RAM, an 8MP rear-facing camera and a 2MP front-facing camera and Beats audio Technology. The Slate 8 Pro powered by a Tegra 4 Cortex-A15 processor with 72-core GeForce GPU. HP has attached a bunch of software with the Slate 8 Pro, which includes Kingsoft Office, HP File Manager, HP ePrint and HP Connected Photo.
The Slate 8 Pro is very lightweight and super comfortable to hold. HP has clad the back of it in a striking white plastic. HP also showed off a dock for the Slate 8 Pro, It works by sitting the tablet upright and is just a micro-USB tip that slides into the USB connection on the bottom of the tablet.
On the other hand the HP Slate 7 Extreme features a 7-inch HD screen (1280 x 800 pixels) display, 16GB of storage expandable up to 32GB via micro SD, a micro HDMI port, integrated, precision-built NVIDIA DirectStylus technology for handwritten notes; and rich, deep audio from front-facing stereo speakers with a bass reflex port.

Both the devices run on the Android operating system (version is not available yet). Both offer optional 4G connectivity, Beats Audio, front and rear cameras, and a similar design.
The HP Slate 7 Extreme and Slate 8 Pro tablets would be available in the United States in November. Though the price details will be declared near the availability. Moreover the HP Slate 7 HD and Slate 10 HD come with two free years of T-Mobile data service, up to 200 MB of 4G data per month.
