Livescribe 3 smartpen arrives for Apple Devices. The Livescribe has released the new accessory for the Apple devices including iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The accessory for Apple devices is dubbed as Livescribe 3 smartpen that features a Bluetooth Smart wireless technology. The Livescribe 3 is a slim and stylish device and will go on sale online starting from 6th November. It is compatible with Apple devices and enables iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users to make handwritten notes on their devices.  The Livescribe 3 is a real pen, that sets down physical notes in actual ink. It is paired with the Livescribe’s Dot Paper notebooks. The tip of the Livescribe 3 smartpen has a camera that capture whatever you wirte and keeps the digital record of your material.

It also includes a pen’s companion software to search through your text of finding specific words in your handwritten notes on the screen. Other capabilities of the smartpen are to make interactive 'pencasts' that synchronise recorded audio with written notes, and the capability to change handwriting to text to generate tasks, reminders, contacts and calendar events.

The pen is available for purchase in two versions. The first version comprises a chrome black smartpen along with a 50-sheet Starter Notebook, a micro USB charging cable and a black tungsten carbide medium-tip ink cartridge. This bundle will cost you £129.99.

The other version that is a Pro Edition of smartpen will includes a a leather smartpen portfolio with a 100-sheet Dot Parer journal, a one-year subscription to Evernote Premium, the charging cable and an additional ink cartridge with the cost of  £169.99.
