Apple to use Solar Power for Charging its Notebooks and iOS Devices. A new patent application that was published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) through  AppleInsider  revealed that Apple is thinking to use solar power for charging its mobile devices and notebooks.  The company is looking forward to deliver solar-ready power management system to its upcoming device, by negating  gigantic external converters. Already has numerous solar inventions to its name the company is thinking to  come forward to form a solar power solution that can be made feasible in the near future. The patent is entitled "Power management systems for accepting adapter and solar power in electronic devices,"filled in 2012 by Kisun Lee, Manisha P. Pandya and Shimon Elkayam as its inventors.. According to the patent Apple is not going to fully invest in the solar power solution, instead it will use the existing technologies to start with. In Apple patent the power management is meant to get both power adapter and solar power direct from gathering devices or traditional mains-based chargers. The power management system would comprise a system micro controller (SMC) and a charger. Power would run in the system from either an AC-to-DC adapter or directly from a photovoltaic solar panel's output, which is DC only, then be measured and converted to the necessary voltage.
In other words, you could plug your iPad/iPod adapter, or alternatively hook a MacBook or other piece of hardware directly to a solar panel with a simple cord.

Other features of the Tab G11s are a 2 mega pixels rare-facing camera with a 0.3 mega pixels front facing camera, 1GB of RAM, Wifi, GPU, Bluetooth, MicroSD card support and GSM support. It contains the price tag of Rs.12990 with one year of warranty.
On the other hand the Genius Tab Q4 sports a 7.85 IPS 10 Multi touch display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 with 160ppi , a 1.6 GHz Quad Core processor. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. It has a 2 mega pixels front and a 5 megapixels rare-facing cameras, 1GB of RAM,8 GB built-in storage and 32 GB of expandable via micro SD card. It has a 5000 mAh Li-on Battery.
In terms of connectivity the Genius Tab Q4 hasWi-Fi / PTCL EVO Dongle and Bluetooth. It is available for purchase with the price ag of Rs.18799 with one year warranty.

ZTE unveils Blade Q Mini, Blade Q and Blade Q Maxi Smartphones.  ZTE, the Chinese mobile manufacturer, has unveiled the three new budget-friendly smartphones for the Blade Q series. The new smartphones are dubbed as the ZTE Blade Q Mini, Blade Q and Blade Q Maxi. All the ZTE handsets are Android-powered and have different size of display. The ZTE Blade Q Mini sports a 4-inch WVGA display with 480x800 pixels of resolution, the Blade Q Maxi features a 5-inch FWVGA display with the resolution of 480x854 pixels. On the other hand the ZTE Blade Q sports a 4.5-inch display with 480x854 Pixels of  resolution.

Samsung LM561B LED Package Certified to Meet LM-80 Standard for High Lumen Maintenance

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced today that the Samsung LM561B, a high-efficacy mid-power LED package has been LM-80 certified. LM-80 is a widely observed test for lumen maintenance developed and accredited by U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Star program. Through the LM-80 standard testing, we have affirmed that our LM561B package is an outstanding mid-power solution optimized for premium LED lighting applications that demand high efficacy and reliability, said Bangwon Oh, senior vice president of LED Lighting Marketing, Samsung Electronics. We expect that our LM561B product lineup will be even more widely accepted for a variety of LED applications with this certification.”

Samsung LM561B completed 6000 hours of LM-80 testing, and among the test results, TM-21 data demonstrated an L₇₀ of 93,000 hours under a 150mA driving current at an operating temperature of 85 degrees Celsius. This means that the Samsung LM561B will maintain at least 70 percent of the initial light output for a minimum of 93,000 hours, which will make the LED light more amenable to applications that require a high level of lumen maintenance.

The Samsung LM561B, which was introduced earlier this year, is designed for LED lighting applications such as LED tubes, LED ambient lighting, downlighting and retrofit lamps, and features 170lm/W light efficacy. The LM561B product lineup offers a wide range of color temperatures and comes in three brightness levels, while providing quarter binning to better meet customer design needs.
