PM takes strict notice of congratulatory ads on Govt expenditure

The representative of PM office said that newly elected Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has taken strict notice of recent advertisements appearing on the national media sector, sponsored by the government departments and public sector organizations, congratulating him on becoming PM of Pakistan. These congratulatory advertisements are being made on government expenditures.

The spokesman said that Prime Minister issued directives to relevant authorities and demand explanation National Highway and Motorway Police and National Bank of Pakistan. He said that national wealth should not be wasted on such advertisements and took strict action against those violating these directions. Read More

Shahzaib Murder Case: Accused get the death sentence

Anti terrorism court (ATC) in Karachi has given his decision on Shahzaib murder case and awarded death sentence to accuse Siraj Talpur and Shahrukh Jatoi. While the two other accused have been awarded with life imprisonment. The court has penalized all four accused with Rs 500,000 fine while Sajjad Talpur and Murtaza Lashari will serve an additional one-year imprisonment for harassing Shahzeb’s sister.

On the other hand Shahrukh Jatoi Lawyer and family members decided to challenge the decision in Sindh High Court.

Actress Jiah Khan hanged herself in depression

The  25-year old Bollywood actress Jiah Khan reportedly committed suicide by hanging herself. The reports said that she was depressed and under depression she hanged herself at her Juhu residence yesterday night. The actress a.k.a Nafisa Khan made her Hindi film debut in 2007 opposite Amitabh Bachchan in the ‘Nishabd’. She also acted opposite Aamir Khan in Ghajini and Akshay Kumar in Housefull.


She was brought up in England and recently shifted to Mumbai to act in Bollywood film industry.
