Government imposed Tax of Rs.25 on the reload on Rs.100 card. The budget for the fiscal year 2013 has been implemented yesterday, on 1^st July. The new tax has been applied on the reload of mobile card, now the subscriber of any telecom operator has to pay Rs.24.99 tax to the government on the load of 100 rupee card. The government has increased withholding tax (WHT) on the load of Rs.100 card from 10 percent to 15 percent in the fiscal budget 2013.

While the maintenance charges have been raised from 3 percent to 5 percent.Read More
