Users can download the Outlook Web App for free from the App Store for their iPhone and iPad devices with the active Office 365 subscription that also includes Exchange Online. Like a client this new app offers the same functionality as the browser-based OWA, allows users to contact, calendar, and email and other Inbox data housed on a company’s Exchange server.

Unblocking of Blasphemous content on YouTube become Headache for PTA and IT MinistryUnblocking of Blasphemous content on YouTube become Headache for PTA and IT Ministry. It is reported that the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and the Information Technology (IT) ministry are unable to block the blasphemous content on the video sharing site YouTube due to the inaccessibility of technology. Now the Lahore High Court has ordered them to evaluate the technology that makes them able to block the blasphemous
videos on the website.

While hearing a petition for the restoration of YouTube in the country Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah, said that the restoration of video sharing website is associated with  the technological ability of the IT ministry and PTA to block notorious content on the sites.
By keeping in view the inability of PTA and MoIT, court directed PTA Director General, Mr. Waseem Tauqeer to organize a meeting with the petitioner and IT ministry to assess and explore the state of technological ability available in the country to block the blasphemous content. Read More

The minister of Information and Technology (IT), Anusha Rahman mentioned that by establishing the Technology parks in the country the government is dedicated to offer an integrated platform to all technology-related companies. She said while chairing a meeting, that IT parks would not be limited to IT project rather
they should provide equal opportunities for education, health sciences,
pharmaceutical, textile and other industries. She formed a committee under the chairmanship of Secretary IT Kamran Ali Qureshi and directed it to make RFOs for the project.
Technology Parks are increasingly viewed as an essential component of the knowledge economy and are a vital source of knowledge-based industries.
Approximately 1,500 science and technology parks and approximately 3,000 incubators are working globally.
About 70 percent of technology parks are located in the developed countries including the Silicon Valley, USA, the Cambridge Science Park in the UK, the Hsinchu Science and Technology Park in Taiwan, the Daedeok Science Town in South Korea and the Science and Technology Park and Biopolis in Singapore.
