Mobilink empowers over 10,000 participants to participate in Pakistan’s biggest music reality show.Mobilink’s mobile auditions have received 10,861 entries from participants aspiring to participate in Pakistan Idol. The Mobilink mobile auditions mark the first time in the history of the global reality show that participants have been able to send in their nominations using call-ins.As the official cellular partner of Pakistan Idol, Mobilink took on the responsibility of empowering 37 million subscribers on its network by providing them access to Pakistan Idol through their mobile phones. The resulting call-in nominations were received from over 850 cities, towns and villages from across Pakistan. Farid Ahmad, Vice President Marketing, Mobilink said,

Pakistan Idol will follow a similar pattern as the international ‘Idol’ series. A total of 100 participants are to be finalized in the first round, based on in-person and mobile auditions. 40 will be further short-listed to reach the ‘Theater Round’ where they will compete in group and individual performances. The ‘Piano’ round will be the final stage of the competition, with 13 contestants performing over several weeks for the coveted title of ‘Pakistan Idol’.

City of lights Karachi got lightened by Pakistan Idol

The Largest and most populous metropolitan city of Pakistan Karachi got lightened with Pakistan’s first ever music reality show Pakistan Idol “Jo haiDilkiAwaaz”. The biggest city gave the biggest turnover so far in this journey of Pakistan Idol. Karachi also known as city of lights for some time became as the city of music and great talent. Huge turnover was seen with an amazing crowd with full of energy and passion for music. Karachi was team Idol’s last destination for auditions and this was the best ending which the Karachiites bought at Pakistan Idol’s platform. Karachi is home to music, theatre and art activities but this was something new and something amazing which we saw in these 3 day auditions in Karachi. Overwhelming crowd , enthusiastic contestants who were least bothered about the hot weather and just wanted to give their best in Pakistan Idol’s auditions.

Contestants were found screaming“Jeetaygabhaijeetayga ,Hamara Karachi jeetayga” & “Dama Dum Mast Qalandar , Karachi kaPehla number”. Surely contestants from Karachi were one of the best contestants in the whole Idol journey.

The auditions which started from Islamabad ended with more energy in Karachi. It seemed like Karachi gave its best in the ending of the audition sessions. Let’s see what more we get to see in the coming days of Pakistan Idol “Jo haidilkiawaaz”.

PAKISTAN IDOL ROCKED THE MUGHAL CITY OF GARDENS

Lahori contestants took Pakistan Idol “Jo haiDilkiAwaaz” by storm with their over whelming performances in auditions. Huge crowd , amazing contestants and lot of energy , this was what Lahore brought in the amazing three day auditions of Pakistan Idol “Jo HaiDilkiAwaz”.  ZindaDilan e Lahore proved how passionate they are about singing and what really Pakistan Idol means to them. Starting  from the mall activation in Mall of Lahore till the 3^rd day of auditions huge turnover was seen in Lahore. Amazing people ,melodious voices and energetic contestants were found in this journey of team idol in Lahore.Team idol gave chance to “The Mughal City of Gardens”  to showcase their talent in Pakistan Idol. Day 1 started with a huge crowd waiting outside the auditions venue.
Hot sunny day,  contestants singing and waiting for their turn to prove that they really are Pakistani Idols. The day got more amazing when suddenly it started raining heavily, but this had nothing to do with the energy level of contestants . They still waited for their turn and gave their best in the auditions.
Day 2 was much more amazing. More passionate contestants were seen in the sessions.ZindaDilan e Lahore rocked the audition venue with their ZindaDilperformances. Singing , dancing and enjoying the environment created by team idol for them. The energy and the dream  of becoming an idol in pre casting auditions  Lahore proved The famous saying “Lahore LahoreAeyy”.
As huge amount of people registered in Lahore ,the auditions were extended to day 3.  Once again , early morning and Lahore was there to rock the Pakistan Idol auditions day 3. Same energy and lot more passion for music . Lahore is set to be known as house of emerging fashion but from now on wards Lahore will be making a history of emerging new singers and Idols.  With big names such as Noor Jehan ,Mehdi Hassan , Ali Azmat Lahore is all set to give a new Idol to this nation Pakistan through Pakistan Idol.
